Along with Karina Ortiz-Villa and Sam Ridge, I co-founded the San Diego chapter of Corrupt the Youth (CtY) in 2022. CtY is an outreach program that brings philosophy to high school students from backgrounds that have been historically excluded from the discipline. By introducing these students to philosophy, we provide them with tools that help them take a critical eye toward the world around them and help them navigate it in an authentic, purposeful way. Briana Toole founded CtY in 2016 and you can learn more about it here.
CtY is primarily focused on showing students how philosophical tools and thinking can help them address questions and issues that impact their everyday lives.
